Three years have passed since my last post . Today I went with my Grandchilden to Airworld Aviation Museum in Caernarfon.
There she was, XW 269 in all her glory. Tyres a bit flat , but gleaming. Hard to believe it is 46 years ago since I flew in her.
Sad to think that as the years go by, many of those I knew on the Squadron May have gone to hangars in the sky!
Not sure if any members are still active here, I’ll check in in a few weeks time and if there has been no response, I’ll close the doors and turn the lights off!
