I’ve managed to upgrade the website installation and everything seems to be working again except the Gallery button. Until this is fixed, to get to the Gallery, use this link. I’m going to take this opportunity to refresh the site. The wordpress theme that we use is pretty but isn’t easy to manage and things […] A bad person on the internet has hacked our site. The link to the Gallery isn’t working and loads of spams have been sent to the forums. I’ve sorted out the forums and I’ll get onto the Gallery as soon as I can. I’ve finally cracked the Gallery – please let me know if it doesn’t work properly for you. It’s taken a while but the website is up and running (almost) properly again. The photo gallery is not integrated as it should be, but it is working. I’ll be continuing to make improvements to the site over the next few days. I’ll probably change the appearance completely because the WordPress theme that we use […] Some bad things happened to the website when I was away skiing. First, the host server (in Canada) crashed and the whole site went down. That got fixed as soon as I became aware of it but the Gallery is still off-line – I’m on the case. Secondly, my email program stopped collecting my FourFax […] I’ve spent a bit of time this afternoon updating the “WordPress” code that underlies the site and generally tidying up. You may notice that the Gallery now appears in the regular Fourfax page instead of on its own. Chris I’ve had to remove the Tagboard feature because it was getting lots of spam and I was having to spend a lot of time cleaning it up. The Forums are always open to registered members, of course, if you feel the urge to post a message! Chris The Gallery’s down again for a day or two – I tried to do an upgrade which went wrong. I’ll sort it out over the weekend. Update – Saturday pm – back up again! Chris The photo Gallery is down for maintenance. I hope to have it back up in 24 hours. Chris I’ve made a small change to the front page of the website. The list of pages at the bottom of the sidebar on the right is now “collapsed”. So when you click on a link that has lots of sub-pages, for instance “Stories”, you’ll be taken to a new page which shows all the sub-pages […] Just a reminder – in order to be able to reply to any of the comments here or upload photographs to the Gallery, you need to have logged into the site – look for the “login” link in the sidebar on the right. You also need to be logged in to see the full-size gallery […] Some of you have already noticed that your current usernames and passwords don’t work any more. That’s because, in order to give you the facility to comment on posts and photographs and contribute to the site generally, I’ve got to reissue all 602 usernames and passwords. I hope to get them out to you this […] This page does not currently display properly in Internet Explorer (Mac or PC). I’m going to try to make it work, but IE is very non-standard nowadays and it might take me a few days.
