The Sqn deployed to RAF Kinloss for 2 weeks for Tactical Leadership Training from 13 – 27 November 2009. The Ex was invaluable for exposing pilots to large COMAO aircraft packages prior to Ex RED FLAG in January 2010.

2009 IV(AC) at Cottesmore

The Sqn has commissioned a former aircraft fitter and Association member (Mr Des Davies) to paint a picture of the Sqn along similar lines to that of Sqn Mosquitoes on the Line at Celle, West Germany in 1949. The 2009 photograph, featuring Harrier GR9s and personnel in a similar configuration, is re-produced above. The Sqn looks forward to taking delivery of the painting sometime in the new year.
