I’ve just realised that the Black Tie Dinner on Thursday 23rd July is only for people who have served directly with the Harrier Force i.e. no wives, ex-wives, girlfriends, boyfriends, partners, better halves etc. This is a shame – it’s probably a numbers thing.
Families are welcome at the Open Day on Friday. That’s when I’ll be there…
My very deep regrets for not being able to attend the Harrier Reunion. Unfortunately it is as you know in July, which is the hardest time to get any leave in the Airline world and the management is never backward in hiding behind the age old expression, ” Operational Requirement”!!! I will be thinking of you all enjoying yourselves on the 23rd of July and seriously wishing that I was there as well. Anyway lads, enjoy a very good evening. Best wishes. Mo Tiwana.
