The list of pages at the bottom of the sidebar on the right is now “collapsed”. So when you click on a link that has lots of sub-pages, for instance “Stories”, you’ll be taken to a new page which shows all the sub-pages that are available. Chris Bill Langworthy, IV(AC) Sqn in the Hunter days, passed away on 1 January 2006. His son, Howard, has written a tribute to him which I’ve posted in the Members section of the Forums. Hey Bill, I received your e-mail but your e-mail address was wrong so I couldn’t send you your registration details – please e-mail me again! Chris This is an appeal for more photographs for the website. Please scan in any photographs you have of your time on the Sqn and either e-mail them to me or upload them directly to the Gallery. If you don’t have the technology to scan images, I’d be happy to do it for you. Send me an e-mail and I’ll give you my snail-mail address. Chris ? Just a reminder – in order to be able to reply to any of the comments here or upload photographs to the Gallery, you need to have logged into the site – look for the “login” link in the sidebar on the right. You also need to be logged in to see the full-size gallery photographs, to submit posts and articles to the site and to change your user profile (information about you that other members can see. Hmmm. 550 usernames and passwords sent out – 80 bounced back as duff. In particular, those of you previously with hotmail, fsnet and freeserve accounts seem particularly reluctant to keep FourFax updated 😉 Please let me know if you change your address, or do it yourself in the Control Panel (for the Main site) and in the Forums. Of course, if you have a duff e-mail address you won’t be able to log in, so let me know your new address and I’ll sort it out (or simply re-register). I’ve still got 105 new usernames and passwords to issue. The server threw a wobbly after 550 had gone out – I think there’s a limit to the number of e-mails I’m allowed to send a day. So if you haven’t received a new username and your surname starts with an “S” or more, you’ll get yours tomorrow, otherwise, your old address has expired and you need to let me know (or re-register). Some of you have already noticed that your current usernames and passwords don’t work any more. That’s because, in order to give you the facility to comment on posts and photographs and contribute to the site generally, I’ve got to reissue all 602 usernames and passwords. I hope to get them out to you this week (let me know if you’ve changed your e-mail address). This page does not currently display properly in Internet Explorer (Mac or PC). I’m going to try to make it work, but IE is very non-standard nowadays and it might take me a few days. In the meantime, I recommend you download and try FireFox (link on the right and at the bottom of the sidebar). It’s free, fast, and displays pages properly. Update: The main page now loads properly in IE 🙂 but I still recommend Firefox… Welcome to the All-New FourFax website!
